Memory Play (UK) + Support / DJ
EN:
Memory Play (UK) is the alias and alter ego of Josef Kašpar. Onstage, they create an immersive and ritualistic performance fusing a dark, experimental and organic sound palette with driving beats and guttural vocals. The result, a boundary pushing show that carves a path somewhere between a performance art piece and a high-octane techno set.
Through their words, they touch on the collective grief and confusion of these times, whilst also leading the audience on a journey exploring themes of healing and reconnecting with nature. A bold, visceral, yet vulnerable performer, Memory Play’s live sets push their machines and audience to their edges.
As co-founder of Bristol’s label and party series @dialogueuk their roots sprung from the techno and noise scene. Years later, their production and performance pushes at the boundaries of the genre and into exciting and unmapped territory.
